I've written, directed and edited four feature films and a number of short fiction and documentary films. My approach is heavily influenced by my involvement in the Irish DIY, hardcore punk music scene of the late ‘90’s to early ‘00s and my films are made in that spirit, one of independence, creative collaboration and a healthy disregard for industry conventions. My films are character driven and when possible, I use improvisation and backstory rehearsal with actors.

My last feature, the satire, ‘Welcome to Northern Ireland’, won three awards at The Dublin International Comedy Film Festival, has since been distributed in north America and is available to watch on Amazon Prime. My new feature, ‘Big Time’, is currently in principal photography. My last short drama, ‘Sapling’ won Best Celtic Short Film at the BAFTA qualifying Carmarthen Bay Film Festival.

In many cases I've worked as cinematographer on my own films, directing from behind the camera. I sometimes work as a cinematographer for other directors on short films and documentaries.

Below are a selection of trailers, selected films are available on YouTube.
